Membership Options for Coop/Elevators
Members have several membership or contract finance options. They include:
1. Full Memberships - with Dividend Rights.
- $26,000 membership fee.
- 10% - 15% capital required on retained loans; sold
loans may require no capital.
- 20% pool guarantee with a $500,000 minimum on all
loans
- 20% pool guarantee with a $200,000 minimum on agronomy
loans eligible for note sale to CoBank.
2. Flex - Finance Contract
- $5,000 sign-up fee provides financing services
by CCC for two years.
- $2,500 per year thereafter. However, should the coop
decide to apply for membership in CCC at the end of the second year,
the $5,000 initial fee may be credited to the membership fee of $26,000.
- 10% - 15% Reserve Account required on all outstanding
loans.
- Same pool guarantee as described above.
